The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed about the large range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The services point created for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods status sassa to permit the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
